A man (Morgan Freeman) in witness protection manages a retirement resort in Palm Springs until he is discovered by the mob he used to work for and his life is in danger. He enlists the help of a new friend (Tommy Lee Jones) to save him. Also with Glenne Headly, Rene Russo, Joe Pantoliano George Wallace, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Elizabeth Ashley. Directed by Ron Shelton. SEX/NUDITY 4 - A man and a woman flirt, seem to be seducing each other and go to a man's apartment where he goes to his bedroom to light the fireplace and finds another woman in his bed; the woman in the bedroom is wearing a revealing negligee (we see cleavage and bare thighs) and he says that he will "Submit to your every whim" (they do not have sex). A woman sits in a bathtub and is covered to the upper chest with bubbles (we see bare shoulders, cleavage and one leg to the knee) and she raises a leg and puts it on the side of the tub as she makes an invitation to a man (he declines and leaves). A woman reclines on a sofa and unbuttons her dress (we see cleavage and her bra) and is flirtatious with a man. Three women flirt with a man and invite themselves into his apartment; one then goes to his bedroom (we do not see anything physical happen).
 A few women are seen in an exotic dance club (we see them wearing tube top-type tops that reveal cleavage and bare shoulders). A woman wears a low-cut dress that reveals cleavage in several scenes. Several men and woman wear swimwear around a pool and in a hot tub in a few scenes (cleavage, bare shoulders, men's chests and legs are seen). A woman finds a pair of women's underwear in a box of papers in a man's office. Women wear low-cut dresses at a party (cleavage and bare shoulders and upper backs are seen).
 A man takes three women to dinner. A man flirts with a business associate to try to dissuade her from firing him. Men and women dance together at a party. Two men compete at several games (card throwing, ping pong, bench pressing, limbo) to see who will win the opportunity to "court" a woman.
 A man remarks about a flocked Christmas tree and a woman says, "I like a good flocking." A woman on a ladder asks a man, "Are you checking me out?" and the man replies, "Every inch." A man tells a joke about a person telling another person, "I want to have wild sex with you all night long." A man sits next to a woman at a bar, says hello and she tells him to "scram." A man tells another man that another man is having sex "With your entire harem." A woman lectures in a class about sex and the importance of sexual activity as a senior. A man talks about a class discussing group sex. A man says, "I'm exploring my feminine side." A man says that he wants to, "Take the starch out of her knickers." A man talks about exotic dancers making men feel virile. A man says that another man, "Loves naked ladies." There are many references and implications that men and women living in a retirement resort are having sex with multiple partners.
 A man refers to a female staff member as "darling" and says, "Be a dear."

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A man in a trailer points a rifle at another man outside the trailer and a third man shoots the hand of the gunmen (blood spurts) while the other man shoots the gunman in the chest (we see blood on his chest).
 A man opens his golf bag and a rattlesnake slithers out of a pocket and toward him; the man gets a handgun and shoots at it (he does not hit it) and another man picks it up and puts it in a bucket using a golf club, and then tells another man to sit on the lid to keep the snake inside. A golf cart explodes and several people around it fall to the ground (no one is harmed). A truck explodes with no one in it (no injuries are shown). A man shoots at two men in a truck and we see bullet holes in the hood of the vehicle; the driver chases the shooter speeding away in a van until the truck breaks down. Two men in a car chase a man driving a box van along narrow dirt roads until the van driver stops and runs; the other driver calls out to him and holds a gun on him. A man grabs a woman and holds his hand over her mouth; we then see her tied to a seat in a box van. A man carries a bound woman to a trailer and ties her to a chair; she yells and struggles.
 A man dressed as Santa Claus hits another man dresses as Santa Claus with a bag full of gifts and knocks him into a Christmas tree; the two men wrestle on the floor until another man throws one of them into another Christmas tree (no injuries are seen). A man tries to do the limbo and his back cracks loudly.
 A dog runs toward a coyote and we see the coyote with the dog in its mouth (we hear the dog whimpering); a man shoot at the coyote and it drops the dog and runs away (we see the dog with a cone on its head and bandages on its legs later). A dog runs away from his human companion and jumps onto a restaurant table. A dog barks at camels and sheep and they break out of a pen and run away.
 Two men argue over dancing with a woman at a party. An announcement is made that a man suffered a massive coronary the night before while a woman was visiting him (there's a sexual implication). A woman yells over the phone, "I want that rat's head in a box." Two men argue in a few scenes. A man and a woman argue in a few scenes. A woman argues with someone on the telephone and we understand that she is being fired. A woman says that her husband is drinking "toilet wine." We understand that a man is in a maximum security prison and we see his wife with a monitoring bracelet on her ankle. A woman says that she wants someone, "Deader than dead." A woman says about her dog, "I can never shut him up." A woman tells someone over the phone, "Murder him the old fashioned way." A man tells another man, "You need a new liver." A man asks, "Am I hammered?" A man asks another man, "You want bloody chunks all over?" A man talks about being a lawyer for a crime family and that when he was approached by the feds, the brakes on his car went out, and then they put him in witness protection. A man tells another man, "Heaven's gonna be a disappointment to you." A woman says that two men should "snuff" someone out. A man tells another man, "You need therapy." A man says, "He'll shoot me in the head."
 A man dressed as Santa Claus stumbles out of a bar after having several drinks and another man drives him home.

LANGUAGE 5 - At least 1 F-word, 8 sexual references, 28 scatological terms, 10 anatomical terms, 21 mild obscenities, name-calling (rat, elf, 5 gallon head, darling, evil, sleazy, heathen, corporate, half-lit Santa, cad, sad, legend, man of mystery, old dinosaurs, coward, madness, disgrace), exclamations (shut-up, oh no, gee whiz, uh-oh), 3 religious profanities (GD), 10 religious exclamations (e.g. Only God Is Perfect, Oh My God, For Heaven's Sake, My God, God, Oh God).

SUBSTANCE USE - A woman drinks glasses of whiskey in a few scenes, a man and a woman drink champagne, a woman drinks a glass of clear liquor at a bar, a man opens a bottle of wine and a woman asks if she can have some, many people at a retirement resort drink alcohol drinks in many scenes throughout the movie, two men and woman drink champagne, a man dressed as Santa Claus stumbles out of a bar after having several drinks, and a woman drinks wine in a bar. A woman smokes cigarettes in every scene that she is in indoors and outdoors.
