A man and a woman (James Gandolfini and Julia Louis-Dreyfus) meet and although they initially admit that they are not attracted to each other, they begin to date. As their relationship progresses she begins to wonder if he might be the ex-husband of one of her clients (Catherine Keener) who has nothing but awful things to say about him. SEX/NUDITY 5 - A man and a woman kiss tenderly and then passionately; we then see them in bed together and it is implied that they had sex (their bare shoulders are shown). A man and a woman are shown in bed kissing (we see his bare back and shoulders and she is covered by a sheet; they kiss and stop several times because she complains of his beard or her hair is being pulled and they do not have sex. A man and a woman kiss in several scenes. A man and a woman lie in bed after having sex and the man asks her if she "can breathe when I'm on top of you."
 A man is shown lying on a massage table and there is a bulge at his crotch (it's unclear if it is an erection). A man is shown being massaged by a woman and his bare chest and shoulders are seen (we see this in a few scenes). A woman is shown being massaged by another woman and her bare back is shown (we see this in a few scenes). A woman wears low-cut tops that reveal her cleavage in several scenes. Women at a party are shown wearing low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage, bar shoulders and backs. A man wearing lounge pants stands in front of a seated woman and she appears shocked when she says that she can see his penis; he is embarrassed and leaves the room to change his pants (we do not see anything). A teen girl comes into a bedroom where a man and a woman are in bed (he is shown wearing boxer shorts and a T-shirt and she is shown wearing pajamas). A woman tries on a dress in a shop and insists that she can wear it as well as her teen daughter; the dress is tight-fitting and reveals her leg from mid-thigh.
 A man and a woman go out on a date and when he brings her home, he leans over to kiss her when she says, "I'm not sure."
 A teen girl tells a woman that "We did it" (about having sex with her boyfriend) and that "It was nice." A husband tells his wife, "I'll fill your hole." A man tells a woman "I like your [anatomical term deleted]." A woman tells another woman that she finds a man "kinda sexy." A man talks about whether or not men get erections during massages and whether they make sexual advances toward a woman performing the massage. A man dating a woman asks her if her massage clients ever hit on her and he says that he would definitely hit on her. A woman says of her ex-husband that she was "repulsed by him sexually" and that he was "a disgusting clown in bed." A woman yells at another woman and calls her a name after the second woman gave the first woman's teen daughter advice about having sex with her boyfriend. A woman asks a teen girl if she is a virgin and they talk about whether the girl should have sex with her boyfriend; the woman advises the teen that she should do it. Two women talk about "never" having sex in their marriages. Two teen girls talk to the mother of one of them about other people having "threesomes." A man talks about women at a party being attractive (he is a married man and is at the party with his wife). A woman tells a man that there are no attractive men at a party. A woman asks a man about his daughter, "Do you think they have threesomes?"

VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - A teen girl throws garbage on the ground and when a woman tells her to pick it up she calls the woman a name. A woman yells at another woman and calls her a name after the second woman gave the first woman's teen daughter advice about having sex with her boyfriend. A woman is insulting and makes fun of her date at a dinner. A man confronts a woman about how she treated him at a dinner and they argue briefly. A teen girl yells at her mother and they argue briefly. A woman makes a hand gesture resembling a pistol and pretends to shoot herself in the head. A man reacts when a woman takes off her shoe and he says, "I've got a problem with feet"; he then goes on to describe a woman's feet that were swollen and full of veins and that made him uncomfortable seeing other people's feet. A woman becomes annoyed when a man talks during a movie (he doesn't whisper) and another moviegoer shushes him. A woman talks about having been divorced for 10 years and speaks negatively about her ex in several scenes: She calls him fat and describes his "big belly," she calls him a slob, she says that she was repulsed by him sexually, and she calls him a disgusting clown in bed." A young woman says, "I hate kids."
 A woman stumbles and nearly falls while carrying a heavy massage table.

LANGUAGE 4 - 7 sexual references, 13 scatological terms, 1 anatomical term, 5 mild obscenities, 1 derogatory term for lesbians, name-calling (wet blanket, ugly crowd, fat, idiot, slob, disorganized, a woman tells a man that he has paddles for hands, stupid, crazy, hideous, snob, disgusting, human Trip Advisor, obnoxious, screwed up, loser, normal, unlovable), exclamations (shut-up, jeez), 1 religious profanity (GD), 26 religious exclamations (e.g. Oh My God, Oh God, God, Jesus).

SUBSTANCE USE - People drink alcoholic beverages at a party, a woman brings a bottle of champagne to a man's house for breakfast and he pours two glasses (we don't see them drink) and men and women drink wine in a few dinner scenes.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Divorce, kids growing up and becoming adults, loneliness, lies, friendship, relationships, success, failure, patient/client confidentiality, separation, being needy, parenting, making assumptions about people, disappointment, obsessive behaviors, compromise, being an only child.

MESSAGE - Relationships are hard; make your own decisions about who to be with.
