The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist | 2016 | R | - 1.6.2

In this sequel paranormal investigators (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) travel to the UK to assist a single mother (Frances O'Connor) and her children. Family members are all tormented by poltergeists, but the 11-year-old daughter (Madison Wolfe) also shows strong signs of demonic possession and forces of evil attack the investigators. Also with Franka Potente and Joseph Bishara. Directed by James Wan. [2:14]

SEX/NUDITY 1 - A man kisses a woman on the cheek. A man and a woman dance closely to "I Can't Help Falling In Love," and put their foreheads together.
A woman says her ex-husband, "Had twins with the woman around the corner." A 10-year-old girl says that she will sneak out of her room with a boy after bedtime and let him French kiss her.
In a bedroom crime scene a man lies on one side, wearing only boxers and we see his bare chest and back.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - Two dead children are shown in bed and under covers with blood spatter on pillows and walls next to the pillows and another child is seen under covers as we hear a gunshot and blood splashes onto the wall. A man wearing only boxers is seen with a long open gash in his torso and blood on his legs; we hear a shot from off-screen and a woman also sitting on the bed falls back with a bloody head wound.
A young boy with glowing eyes giggles and runs into a basement as the spirit of a woman follows him in a vision and finds a row of four ghostly children with glowing eyes and wearing ragged, bloody clothing; they disappear and the woman confronts an evil spirit dressed as a nun (white-faced, with wide black circles around glowing eyes and a black mouth full of long bloody teeth) and it roars as the woman sees a vision of her husband stabbed through the back and out the chest by a huge point of a broken tree; we see his head snap back and his throat crack open with some black gore. A dark basement laundry room floods and lights flicker as a pipe spews water and a man begins fixing the pipe: we see a figure rise out of the waters and a reflection of an old man is shown in the water as it grabs a woman by the wrist and pulls her in and the other man pulls her out and finds a big red human bite mark on her arm; he then finds a dental plate floating and matches it to the bite.
A dog growls at night by a door and when a young boy approaches the animal stands up into a very tall black figure of a man from a children's song; the boy runs, screams, and wakes the family as we see the shadow approaching from down a hallway and a preteen girl appears in the doorway as wind blows and a fire grate flies out through a shattering window; the girl collapses in a trance state, foaming from the mouth, as her mother screams. A preteen girl levitates near the ceiling and screams as her irises turn yellow with bloodshot whites; her mother screams and cries as something unseen slams the girl into a wall.
Reporters interview a preteen girl and she fidgets, hangs her head and talks in an old man's voice, snarling, shouting, and speaking in what sounds like a crowd of voices; the voice tells the family of the house to get out, but they refuse and the voice says that he (an old man) is dead and likes to hear the other children scream. A preteen girl sits in an armchair, with a mouthful of water to prevent speaking, as a man in the foreground asks a demon to speak and the girl in the background becomes very blurred, growing into a large blurred figure that speaks in the voice of a snarling old man; the voice says, "I am not a heaven man," and the figure and voice tremble and shudder as a crucifix is waved toward it, then it reduces in size to the girl once again as she spits water into a cup. A preteen girl's bedroom is a shambles with broken furniture and debris and dozens of crosses hang on every wall; all the crosses invert and a ghostly old man grabs at the girl, snarling, and then disappears. A preteen girl whimpers and panics with her head under the covers and then appears at another bedside, screeching, "Stay away from me!" as the beds shake and bounce loudly and violently; when her mother rushes in we see the girl with a fresh human, bloody bite mark on her shoulder and the family runs out of the house.
A young girl wakes up lying on the living room ceiling and panics, screaming; she is thrust up through the floor into her room, which is now full of broken furniture, the door chained and padlocked, and a ghost of a gray-skinned old man snarls and grabs her as she opens the door a crack; the ghost drags the girl to the back wall and a long curtain wraps around her head and chokes her until a man frees the girl and the ghost is gone. A woman and her frightened preteen daughter see a spirit in a corridor as it walks away; the woman enters her dark office and finds a portrait of a demon nun on the wall as the lights go out and the door slams and locks; a tall shadow walks along a wall, slips behind the picture, and long fingers grab the sides of the picture from behind and the demon rushes with the painting and hits the woman, who screams as she slams against a wall; the camera cuts to the woman screaming on her couch, writing block letters on Bible pages, and ripping them with the pen. A young girl follows a dark figure up a staircase; it disappears and when she goes to sleep, something rips the blanket off her. A young girl wakes up at night on the living room floor as we hear scraping and pounding off-screen, and the girl wakes up on the living room floor two additional nights. A man confronts a demonic face with a red bloody mouth as it roars, it stands up very tall in a boy's tent, and as it walks away it changes into a crooked old man in a red suit and disappears. A boy walks into a dark kitchen and finds carving knives stuck into a table; he turns and sees a preteen girl holding a long knife and a scream comes from off-screen as the boy runs and the door slams and locks; a man breaks in and we see the boy in the bottom of a cupboard and the preteen girl snarls in the voice of an old man and writhes as the first man pulls her out and she falls unconscious.
A woman's spirit enters a dimly lit world of paranormal visions during a séance; it mimics firing a shotgun and its loud shots are heard several times and the spirit's reflection in a mirror is that of a man with a shotgun.
A hot water pipe bursts in a man's face and blinds him, his vision is blurry and the side of his temple, cheek, and eye red and burned; a nun-demon's long gray fingers appear around a door and the blinded man follows it around the house with a crucifix, while reciting scripture. A preteen girl falls out a window and a man grabs her and prevents her from falling onto a large spike.
We hear snarling and the voice of an old man off-screen, telling a family to get out in several scenes. In a vision, an old man sits in a chair and tells a woman that a demon enslaved him to torment the family living in the house. A woman is slammed back against a wall by a strong force as she shouts, "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, I commend you back to hell!" and we see a nun-demon groan and crumble, then disappear with a loud "poof" and a puff of black smoke. A man made of shadows sits in an armchair with his eyes glowing.
A woman has two flashbacks of her husband's death in two scenes and warns him about it, crying; he says her visions are a gift from God. A voiceover states that a man killed his entire family. A woman argues loudly with her 11-year-old daughter, accusing her of smoking. A preteen girl shouts loudly and throws a book at her younger brother, striking the kitchen wall amid screaming. A preteen girl talks to someone invisible in her dark bedroom and we hear a voice call out, "This is my house!" and that it will break the girl's mother's neck. A preteen girl and her older sister use a Ouija board (nothing happens). A woman shouts and tears up a Ouija board. A man says that he had a dream and we see that he painted a portrait of a nun-demon. A woman wakes up in a séance, screaming and crying. Two men argue on live TV, raising their voices as the crowd gasps. A preteen girl says, "Everyone's afraid of me," and a woman replies that at the same age, she saw an angel. A woman says that bullies pick on people who are different and that demons are bullies. A man suggests that a preteen girl is showing multiple personalities, hysterical neurosis, and hallucinations, but a woman says the girl is possessed. A woman says a preteen girl is faking. A woman says that an old man died of a brain hemorrhage. A man says that his daughter died in a car accident and he hopes for an afterlife. We see recorded footage of a preteen girl smashing up a kitchen. A preteen girl tells her sister that a demon ordered her to wreck the kitchen or it would kill her whole family. A man and a woman on a train play two voice tapes that together call out, "Help me! It won't let me go!" and the woman goes into a trance, then wakes with a bloody nose that she wipes with a handkerchief.
A bureau slides across a room by itself. Furniture is thrown through the air and crashes to pieces against walls as lights flicker and explode into sparks in a few scenes. A sofa upends itself and slams against a window that a man breaks with a brick to get into the room (the man is not injured). Two police officers investigate a haunted house and hear scraping and knocking sounds inside the walls; a chair moves down a hallway and into the kitchen and the police rush out of the house. An empty chair rocks itself in a dark room. The reflection of an old man appears on a blank TV screen for an instant after it changes channels by itself several times and goes to static; the remote control is lost and shows up in an armchair, frightening a preteen girl. A toy fire truck drives itself, beeping and flashing a light, out of a boy's tent made of sheets. In two scenes, a light-up music box plays itself in a boy's tent (the song is about a crooked old man). Lightning strikes a tree under a window and falls with a crash, leaving a huge black spike.
A preteen girl ties her wrist to her bed or a bedside table in three scenes with a jump rope to prevent sleep walking. A preteen girl falls and hits her head once, but she is OK.
